ADP Mobile - Retrieve a Forgotten User ID and Password

Retrieving Your Forgotten User ID

  1. Launch the ADP Mobile Solutions app on your device and tap Forgot User ID? below the Next button.
  2. Once the pop-up window is displayed, tap on the Forgot User ID? link.
  3. The Retrieve User ID window will slide up asking you to identify yourself. Tap Next after typing in the following:
    • First name
    • Last name
    • Email or Mobile phone
  4. The We found you window will display. You may be asked to type in your Last 4 digits of SSN, EIN, or ITIN then tap Next.
  5. Your Name, Organization, and User ID will then be displayed.
  6. Tap Done to return to the login screen.

Resetting Your Forgotten Password

  1. Launch the ADP Mobile Solutions app on your device, type in your User ID, then tap Next.
  2. You may see a window pop-up asking if you want to Log In with a Look/Touch. You can tap Enable NowRemind Me Later, or No Thanks.

Note: This is an optional feature. You can Enable Fingerprint (for compatible Apple and Android devices) or Enable Face ID (for compatible Apple devices only) to log in faster and easier the next time around.

  1. Type in your temporary password (if you have one), otherwise, tap on Forgot/Reset Password? below the Login button and proceed to the next step.

Note: If ADP sent you a temporary password you'll type it in as your current password then tap Login. A pop-up window will display the following message: Your temporary password cannot be used to login to ADP Mobile. You must use it to reset your password. This message is expected. Proceed to the next step.

  1. Once the pop-up window is displayed, tap on the Forgot/Reset Password? link.
  2. The Reset Password window will slide up asking for security verification. Select one of the following verification options:
    • Send me an email
    • Send me a text message
    • Let me answer security questions

Note: Security verification options may vary. You may see one or more of these options depending on your personal profile setup.

  1. A unique 6-digit code will be sent to your email or mobile phone. Enter the verification code within 10 minutes then tap Submit.

Note: If you opted to answer security questions, a verification code will not be required. Simply answer the security questions correctly and tap Next to proceed to the next step.

  1. The Create new password window will display. Enter a new password (case sensitive), confirm new password (case sensitive), then tap Submit.
  2. The Password successfully reset window will display. Tap OK to return to the login screen.

You're all set! Type in your user ID and new password to log in to the mobile app and self-service portal from here going forward.

Note: An ADP Generated Message will be sent from email address SecurityServices_NoReply@adp.com logging this request.
