ADP Workforce Now - Setting Up Your Direct Deposit

The Account and Routing numbers should be for a U.S. bank only.  Foreign banks are not accepted.
 

  1. Log in to the ADP Workforce Now
  2. Select Myself > Pay > Payment Options once you are logged in.
    • Some employees have multiple positions within the same company. Follow the steps below to change your selected position to add your direct deposit to all of your positions.  
      1. Click the field under Position ID
      2. Select the Position ID you wish to add a direct deposit to
      3. Add the direct deposit following the main steps.
      4. Repeat with all desired position IDs once the direct deposit is added. 
  3. Select the Add Account button since you are looking to add a direct deposit.
  4. Select Bank Account to select the bank account type you want to set up 
  5. Enter your account details:
    • Account Type 
    • Routing Number
    • Account Number 
  6. Click the box next to " I have received and agreed  to the terms and privacy statement."
  7. Select I Agree to agree to the Terms & Conditions then click Next
  8. Choose the Deposit Amount then click Next.
    • Deposit full amount 
    • Deposit a percentage
    • Deposit fixed amount 
    • Deposit remaining amount (will only display when adding additional accounts)
  9. Review your account details once more then Submit.
  10. Choose how to receive a security code if prompted.
    1. You will have the option to resend code if you do not receive it within 10 minutes.  
  11. Enter the Security Code then Submit Code if needed.  
  12. Click Close to return to the Payment Options page.

An alert will be displayed with either of the following messages:

  • Alert: We verified the account.
  • Alert: We added the account. You'll  get a check until the account is verified, which generally takes one pay period.
  •  
    • While the account goes through the pre-notification period, you will continue to receive your pay in the form of a live check or to another bank account that has already been validated and set to deposit everything.
      • Depending on the features that your organization uses, a live check may not be provided.

You're all set! Repeat the same steps above to add additional direct deposit accounts as needed.
